Jennifer has always dreamed of becoming an all-purpose celebrity. Growing up she was fascinated by a myriad of genres of music, but she particularly enjoyed Afro-Caribbean rhythms like salsa, merengue and bachata. She also enjoyed popular music such as pop hip-hop, hip-hop, and R&B. She was an avid fan of films and music. West Side Story (1961) was the Rita Moreno musical that inspired her the most is also her biggest influence. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer isn't only a skilled entertainer. She also spent eight years in a Catholic elementary school , called Holy Family. Jennifer then was able to graduate after 4 years at Preston High School. Jennifer performed well in the sports department during her time at school, and was a champion in tennis and the track and field. It was the Castle Hill neighbourhood was her residence for the majority of her time. Jennifer was the first to leave the home of her parents at 18 , to leave. In the meantime, Lopez worked at a law firm , while taking dance classes at night.
