Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and sole child daughter of Richard McCormick. Her father worked as a school teacher while her mother was an at-home mom. There are three brothers older than her: Michael Dennis and Kevin. McCormick is always a fan of dancing, singing and putting on show puppets. When McCormick was six years young, she took home the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency called to ask her if she'd be interested in entering the show business. McCormick's first big job was during 1964, when she appeared in a TV commercial for Mattels new doll Baby Pattaburp. A year later she appeared in an additional company's Chatty Cathy Doll and was quickly chosen to play The Brady Bunch La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp And ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick, which was chosen out of 1200 auditioning children to play the oldest of three double-headed daughters in The Brady Bunch (1969) which starred Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. It lasted five years. McCormick wrote in her book Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice Published In 2008 McCormick revealed how during the fifth season of the TV show she almost lost the love of her life to her brother Barry Williams. She was 16 years old at the time. older and the actor aged 19 at the time. She stated, but the time was never right for us.
